The iconic British design brand’s London flagship store is located in a series of Victorian brick arches. 

 

Whilst leading the firm's architeccture and interior design team our founder was in ccharge of the design and delivery of the retail space housed in the protected building.

 

Within the narrow boundaries allowed by the strict protective building guidelines, each arch was designed as a distinct space to serve as backdrop for one of the ever evolving product lines. The existing brick vaults had to be preserved, leaving the floor finishes, custom joinery, and products themselves as the main feature for creating a different character for each space.

The new glazed facade elements and connecting paths between the arches were re-designed, cclosed up or opened up to create optimal customer flow and to allow various uses throughout the day in line with the overall building concept.
