Renovation

 

The brief for this project was to extend and completely re-design the lay-out of the 100m2 North London ground floor apartment to adapt it from a single person household to a small family home with enough space to entertain.

With a cost-effective 40m2 extension we created  a kitchen and dining space for cooking and entertainment that seamlessly opens up to the new terrace and the garden. 

 

The existing study became a second bedroom for the couple’s toddler. The bathroom was moved to the existing small kitchen area, the living room and bedroom were swapped and divided with glazed doors, creating a well functioning home for the family that feels light and generous despite its compact size.
